I really liked the storyline and the game play. But i dont like that the babies dont grow up. It does need a few more quests, like side quests after the main story is over, There are objects in the game that I have found no purpose for, but im assuming that those quests are coming, like Django recipe book or the air compressor. You guys are doing a great job on this game and I hope that it keeps improving. how about letting us venture out into other areas of the world. Just ideas but I love this game, Ill probably play it thru again. the best time consuming game. Hello to all users! First, I want to say this is my first and only game on Steam. I have never played any computer game on a regular basis except for "Monument Valley"and an older game from the 90"s , "Monkey Island". My boyfriend has tried for a long time to get me into his gaming hobby. I have always resisted playing online games, because I thought I was too old to play online games. (I am 51 by the way! ) He has put numerous games on my laptop. I tried to play, but lost interest in a short time. So when he told me to purchase this game I was very hesitant. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how beautiful the scenery and design of this game was. I can't stop playing it! This game has a lot of content and enjoyable aspects to it. I have had issues with crashing, but that could be my laptop. My boyfriend is going to help me upgrade my storage. That should help. There are a few things in the game that is a mystery to me and maybe the developers are going to improve this in time. Things like: I notice that you can breed fish, but not your animals. What's the point of being able to sell your livestock, if you can't get them to breed? McDonald and Emily can breed their animals, why can't we?I also don't like that when you put your fish in the tanks, that you can't tell if they are actually breeding. The crops have an icon letting you know when they are due to be harvested, how come this isn't a feature for the fish? It would be nice to know when it is time to remove the offspring. I love the fishing feature and dart game. I enjoy the variety and challenges in this game as well. I would recommend this game to anyone who has been reluctant to play online games! I also enjoy the tips and tricks on this website. Thank you to those who have taken the time to do this! Happy gaming everyone!. It's fun! I feel like in most games like this, you're looking to constantly tweek and adjust your farm\/workshop\/brothel to reach maximum efficiency. My Time at Portia constantly adds new requirements to your tasks, so you're always having to learn new things in order to keep up. It can be a bit overwhelming at times and I don't think there's any shame in using a wiki on this one (I make fertilizer in my blender? ok), but it's been a good experience overall. The world also feels very fleshed out, there's alot of little character bits hidden around. You can also challenge old lady's to sparring matches, which is a nice touch.. Good game, I would recommend this to anyone who liked Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon.. Very entertaining game.. My friends and I are greatly enjoying it, even though it is single player, we love talking about it together in discord while we play and find new things. Haven't played a game this fun for quite some time and can't wait to see where it goes from here. Added Note: I have read about people crashing alot with this game, however I have 60 hours in and have yet to experience one crash. Of course this doesn't mean it can't happen, but I have not experienced any.. This is an amazing game about the only thing its missing is some form of multiplayer option or even just a two player coop option it would be the extra step in making an amazing game ground breaking. I enjoy this game alot. It has the slow paced and gridy charm to the game. It`s fair enough to compare it to the styles of Stardew Valley, but it is a complete different game with other mechanics, stories and day to day buisness. The style is cute and cartoony. There has been issues with not hearing the characters talk, then suddenly they talk one day but are quiet other days. Still some work that has to be done, I guess. But it`s a really good game! I recomend it.. Good game, I would recommend this to anyone who liked Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon.. The game is fun and brings me peace after a long day. But this review is exclusively to voice a criticism that still bugs me to death. There is romance in this game, npcs that can be romanced who look like full grown adults. However the customization (at least of the male character) is extremely narrow. I am a full grown man but it feels so weird to try to create a masculine "manly" character and having to be satisfied with looking like a 13 year old boy when faced with dating a character like Phyllis. It makes Phyllis look like a pedophile. Even adding the only beard provided in customization leaves your character looking like just a 13 year old with a fake beard on. Not to mention you walk around the town and see these other male npcs (see Arlo) with broad shoulders and considerable height and masculine features relative to what we can have. They even get masculine adult facial features that can't be achieved in customization.TL;DR: Game needs to add character customization that allows making a character that doesn't look juvenile. I'm an adult for heavens sake.
